There are two golden periods in English music. In this performance we explore the relationship between Britain's greatest musical minds. Bath Phil presents masterpieces of the 20th century string repertoire including Vaughan Williams' evocative Fantasia on a theme of Tomas Tallis, and Chorus Angelorum presents the greatest choral music from the Renaissance, including Tallis' 40 part motet Spem in Alium.
