Handel Messiah with Chorus Angelorum
Bath Phil’s critically acclaimed seasonal tour of Handel’s
masterpiece Messiah has become a must-see event
throughout the South West region.
Presented in a chamber production with the orchestra’s principal players accompanying the professional vocal
ensemble Chorus Angelorum and four of Britain’s brightest
young soloist, the performances take place in some of
the South West’s most intimate and atmospheric settings,
including the Medieval Priory at Edington, Wiltshire, the
Victorian Hall in the Dorset County Museum, Dorchester
and Bradford on Avon’s beautiful Holy Trinity Church.
A great way to start Christmas.
Directed by one of Britain’s finest young conductors Jason
Thornton, Bath Phil is one of the region’s most respected
professional orchestral ensembles.
